Conetic opens a demonstration center in Madrid for visual technologies

The Spanish Confederation of Information, Communication and Electronic Technology Companies (CONETIC) inaugurated a center for demonstration, innovation and visual technologies for SMEs, available to test technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality and the Internet of Things. The laboratory is one of a network of European laboratories that bring technologies closer to the industrial sectors. The new laboratory is located in the CEXCO building on Avenida de Europa in Madrid.

Tomás Castro, president of CONETIC, explained that the laboratory is especially focused on small and medium-sized companies, and comes to be an important support for decision making in the acquisition of technology.

“The laboratories are also designed for companies that develop technology”, said Castro, “we seek to design a meeting point with other companies, which allows us to identify partners for the development of projects”, something that is very valuable in view of the Next Generation funds.

CONETIC insists that technological SMEs are the key ally and the best facilitator to face the transition to the digital era, as they offer the capillarity, experience, specialization and knowledge to identify the country’s benchmark projects.
